The 2026–27 school year is almost here, and we're excited to welcome our Black Knights back! Be sure to mark these important dates on your calendar:
Transportation Info, Student Schedules, and Teacher Assignments will be available in PowerSchool.
- Thursday, August 6: Transportation Info (Also available in the Stopfinder App)
- Friday, August 7: Student Schedules & Teacher Assignments
- Wednesday, August 12: Letters will be mailed home with building information

Secondary School Tours/Walk the Halls
- LMS: August 13 | 6:30–7:30 pm
- CMS: August 18 | 6:30–7:30 pm
- HHS: August 21 | 9:00 am–12:00 pm
- Also: CMS will host Cruise the Halls, and LMS will host a Sneak-a-Peek. Those dates can be found on our district calendar.

- CMS & LMS: 7:10–11:40 am (Buses will pick up at normal time. Doors open for car riders at 7:10 am)

Accept the Quest: Design the 2026 Fit Walk T-shirt!
Calling all builders, creators, and adventurers! Your next challenge has arrived.
The Landisville PTO invites all Primary and Intermediate students to embark on this year’s Quest for Fitness by entering the 2026 Fit Walk T-Shirt Design Contest! Create an original, pixel-inspired design that celebrates fitness, teamwork, healthy habits, and school spirit.
🏆 Quest Reward: The winning design will be featured on the official 2026 Fit Walk T-shirt, worn by students, staff, families, and supporters throughout our biggest fitness event of the year!
Gather your pencils, markers, crayons, or digital tools and let your imagination build an epic design. Whether it’s obstacle courses, healthy heroes, pixel-style landscapes, or your own creative adventure, we can’t wait to see what you create.
📜 Quest Details: Contest runs from August 1 – 31. Final jpeg or png designs must be emailed by 11:59 pm to landisvillepto320@gmail.com. See the enclosed flyer for additional details.
Submission Dates: Aug. 1 - 31
Use black ink/font on white background
Size must be between 9”x 9” and 12” x 14”
Artwork must include “2026 Fit Walk” and “Quest for Fitness” somewhere in the design.
Please submit designs as a JPEG or PNG by Mon., Aug. 31. Please include the student's name, grade and school as well as the parent/guardian’s name and contact information.
The winner will be selected by the Landisville PTO Board and notified via email by Thursday. September 3.
Your mission starts now… are you ready to complete the Quest for Fitness?
Any 7th, 8th, or 9th grade student interested in joining the Jr. High Cross Country team for the 2026-2027 school year should join the Schoology Group with the access code: 7WRWQ9KNN2. There is no sign-up; you just need to complete your ATS Portal by August 12th. Here is a link to show you how to set up the ATS Portal:

Practices are held Monday-Friday, from 3-4:30, at Landisville Middle School. A shuttle bus will provide transportation from CMS to LMS after school. Pick-up will be at the LMS Cafeteria Entrance. We will have some voluntary runs over the next few weeks if you are interested. These will be posted on our Schoology Group.

Happy August, LIC families!
July has come and gone! I hope you have been continuing your well-rounded summer by reading every day, practicing multiplication facts, staying active, and helping your family. As we inch closer to the start of the school year, I wanted to reach out with some information that will also be part of my newsletter, which will be sent out with class placements.
- New to LIC, or know someone who will be? We have family tours on 8/12 at 2:30 pm & 6 pm and 8/13 at 9:00 am. No need to sign-up and please bring younger siblings so they get to see their future school, too!
- August 24th is our Sneak-a-Peek from 9:30-10:30 am. Please note that we start and finish earlier to accommodate families that have students at LPC as well.
- Back-to-School Knight is September 2nd from 7-8:30 pm. This is an event for parents/guardians only.
- We are bringing FallFest back for a second year! It will be September 3rd. More details to come!
